You probably have a money-moving app on your phone like Cash App, Venmo, or Zelle. Today I want to warn you about moving money with these apps while you’re under contract.
I ran into a situation with a client where they had transferred some money from their Cash App into their bank account. Those transactions opened a can of worms when it came to tracking where that money came from. Here’s my advice: while you are under contract and going through the loan process, refrain from transferring money between your accounts and using your money-moving app.
